The Melbourne Renegades squad will see the signing of Sri Lankan legendary spinner Muthiah Muralitharan along with Aaron Finch and Daniel Harris.
Five of the players were resigned by the Renegades while two of the contracted players have not played in the Big Bash League before. Seven cricketers have moved in from other franchises.
The signing up of Muralitharan means that he will be up against Shane Warne in the Melbourne derby. Rather interestingly, Darren Pattinson, who has played one Test for England will feature as a local Melbourne player and not an overseas cricketer.
Also in the Melbourne Renegades squad for the Big Bash League 2012-13 is Dutch and South Australian player Tom Cooper.
Daniel Harris will open the innings for the side while Finch will look to showcase his all-round talent for the Renegades.
